Duties: Will join a team of lawyers advising company's retirement. Will be engages on projects such as Implementation of Regulations Impacting Retirement Recordkeepers, including ERISA Section 408(b)(2) service provider disclosures and ERISA Rule 404a-5 participant disclosures; developing industry leading products that provide withdrawal guarantees to qualified plan participants, such as IncomeFlex; negotiating record keeping arrangements with third parties putting the products on its recordkeeping platform; Registered GMWB Product. Creating new prospectuses for registered variable annuity products, including the IncomeFlex products for use in non-ERISA 403(b) and IRA markets; Synthetic GICs. Negotiating and drafting synthetic GIC agreements with investment managers of pooled stable value funds, corporate sponsors and governmental entities; Building ?Open Architecture? Investment Platform. Negotiating and drafting (re-negotiating and re-drafting); investment advisory agreements with external advisors hired to manage assets in a separate account; agreements with outside fund complexes and banks whose products are distributed by Prudential and agreements with outside broker-dealers who will distribute products offered on the platform. Adapting stable value products historically sold to retirement plans for sale to IRA rollover customers. Researching and advising on issues relating to securities and insurance law compliance concerning the distribution of mutual funds and of insurance products. Servicing a large block of existing group annuity contracts providing the monthly retirement income for individuals. Helping create a form of reinsurance agreement for use in the UK pension marketplace and related insurance trust agreement. Diligence and handling of mergers and acquisitions and other corporate activities, including Corporate Governance. Assisting Government Affairs and Influencing Regulators. Reviewing proposed legislation and providing language implementing necessary clarifications or exemptions. Reviewing proposed regulations and providing comments (directly or through industry groups) to regulators. Will have the opportunity to work with business units that have aggressive product development and sales goals but that are also committed to legal compliance.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
