The candidate will lead a group of attorneys who provide cost-effective, high-quality coverage advice, litigation management and other legal services to the Property claim organization. Primary duties and
Responsibilities: Serve as primary Claim Legal Group contact for the Property Field claim organization. Provide strategic direction and legal advice to business partners, including Claim and Product. Provide leadership and Property perspective on numerous cross-lines initiatives within Claim Legal. Ensure that attorneys in the organization develop and implement cost-effective legal strategies on claims and lawsuits. Maintain awareness of judicial climate, current case law decisions and legal trends. Act as mentor and coach to individual attorneys in the group. Manage human resources, including staffing, progressive discipline, performance management, compensation and development of the Property Field team. Provide clients with valuable metrics to evaluate coverage trends, control expense management and implement strategies to improve the overall efficiency and performance of the Property Field claim organization. Serve on management team of Claim Legal Property Group.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
