Summary
Operations Business Intelligence is looking for a new member of the Agency & Digital Business Intelligence team. The candidate will be responsible for participating in client and project team meetings in order to assist in developing tracking/tagging strategies, enabling business customers to measure various KPI's through web analytics tools. The candidate would also be responsible for generating and maintaining business intelligence reporting in order to assist business customers in evaluating ROI of marketing campaigns, social media content strategy, site usability and overall enhancement of customer experience. The candidate would also act as a liaison between the business owners and technical teams to interpret requirements and ensure reporting needs are correctly identified and prioritized within the work queue.
Responsibilities
- Participate in client and project team meetings to explain and interpret web data capture and tracking as well as performing quality assurance tests on tracking implementations.
- Consult with internal teams on how to best leverage analytics to inform business decisions.
- Work with business customers to support web analytics platform implementation, platform remediation, and dashboard development using IBM-s Coremetrics.
- Partner with business and product team stakeholders to interpret analytics needs, identify KPIs and implementation requirements, monitor results and deliver analytical findings.
- Create customized, high-quality scorecards and reports that will be consumed by executive stakeholders.
- Identify data requirements to support measurement strategy/framework, defining KPI's based on business/marketing objectives.
- Perform strategic analysis related to site optimization and other strategic initiatives to identify new opportunities on the site and design future enhancements.
- Analyze large volumes of data in order to identify actionable insights and tell a story that assists stakeholder's business decisions.
Skills & Requirements
- 3
years of experience in web/digital analytics, digital advertising, marketing and business analysis.
- Experience with Web Analytics Platforms (Coremetrics is a plus).
- Working knowledge with core web development technologies (HTML, JS, CSS).
- Experience with Big Data environments (Hadoop, Hive).
- Experience with data analysis tools & stats packages (Excel, SQL, R, Python).
- Strong experience with data visualization tools (Qlikview, Tableau).
- Ability to prioritize and deliver on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to learn and acquire new technologies as needed.
- Keep up to date with web analytics trends and best practices.
Education
- BA/BS in a business or technical field is required.
- IBM Coremetrics certification is desired but not required.
