Program Manager, Product Lifecycle (Remote)

Responsibilities The Product Lifecycle Program Manager will be responsible for leading the global product lifecycle process with a primary focus on SKU rationalization, consolidation and discontinuation. The Manager will gain alignment with senior leaders on strategic portfolio decisions and drive execution and communication across multiple functions, ensuring that all decisions have incorporated commercial and operational impact. Once the product lifecycle management process has been established, the Manager will be responsible for defining the strategy, required resources, organizational structure and ultimately leading a new Obsolescence Project Management team. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Obtain senior leadership stakeholder alignment and approval on all key product lifecycle and product discontinuation decisions Optimize global product mix and profitability by developing and leading product life cycle process, with a focus on SKU rationalization and discontinuation Drive cross-functional execution around newly implemented Product Life Cycle Management GSOP to ensure standardized global approach, with clearly defined responsibilities, communication mechanisms including formal documentation of key decisions, and linkage to existing processes and systems Drive cross-functional and local site engagement to ensure completion of delegated responsibilities Lead global product discontinuation process Implement end-of-life process within IT systems Lead cross-functional team to develop phase-in and phase-out and product obsolescence plans, gain regional alignment, and drive timely execution Develop and maintain process(es) for total product portfolio health review, communication, and governance to serve a broad set of stakeholders Implement frequent ongoing communication touchpoints with key stakeholders to ensure full engagement and alignment to all decisions Actively engage with cross-functional teams working to manage business continuity and product availability through significant strategic or regulatory initiatives such as EU MDR and M&A Develop and implement process dashboard and metrics to drive optimization Understand key product strategy to drive disciplined portfolio management approach and ensure that timing of product discontinuations don't negatively impact sales revenue and/or commercial commitments
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's Degree
Experience:
7
years of experience in program management, product development, marketing or related field. Experience in healthcare industry or medical devices preferred. Experience with Oracle Agile PLM system preferred. Proven ability to lead strategic discussions with senior leaders and gain alignment on key decisions Proven ability to build and lead a team of project managers assigned to address end of life initiatives of varying scope and scale. Superior organizational and program management skills with demonstrated ability to deliver projects/programs in a cross-functional, geographically dispersed environment in a timely and effective manner Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to interface at all levels throughout the organization Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills with proven ability to engage and motivate others to achieve results within a matrix environment Strong analytical skills with ability to use data to identify trends and monitor key processes Experience in product strategy and ability to understand impact and implication of decisions Ability to acknowledge issues or problems and work quickly to identify solutions, always maintaining a high level of professionalism
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Program ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
