offers a unique summer program where kids write, direct, and star in their own animated and live action short movies! We are currently looking for fun, high energy, positive instructors in different areas of Connecticut, Westchester, and West MA to inspire children using the art of movie making for this coming summer.
We're especially looking for those with experience working with children and filmmaking.
Each of our camps typically run for 3 hours a day for 5 days, M-F.
This breaks down to 15 hours of class time, and we try to give instructors 2 camps a week for a full day of work, AM from 9am-12pm and PM from 1pm-4pm.
Plus we pay for 1.
5 hours of additional early arrival/prep time and.
83 hours of post camp time and up to $75 for supervising lunch time (12pm-1pm) for a total pay of $760 per week for full days.
Additional pay if you choose to edit the student projects created in your classes (up to $121 a week).
Please note that the number of classes offered per week depends on student enrollments, occasionally leading to gaps in camps offered (for example 4th of July week we have very few camps).
So if it is vital you have full time work this summer, this position is not right for you.
Programs start June 26th and run through mid August.
Camps are taught in different locations each week, and are located throughout Connecticut, West MA, and Westchester NY.
We will train and provide all necessary materials.
It's essential that you are punctual, accountable and reliable.
Must have your own reliable transportation (you must be able to transport equipment).
Must have a smartphone.
Because you will work with children we are required to run a background check.
