Responsibilities:
The Business Analyst will analyze the current state of data management operations relative to Race, Ethnicity, and Language Data Collection.
To perform this analysis the incumbent will analyze three patient data systems and other systems managed by the client.
The chosen business analyst will:
osuccessfully conduct a stakeholder focused requirements building process.
oengage with key stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate requirements into technical specifications.
oasses existing technical and process requirements.
oassess current state of data modeling and design.
owrite business, functional, and technical requirements of new database model and design for each system.
oanalyze current database systems to identify improvements and optimizations for the collection and reporting of REL Databases from impacted systems.
odevelop project plan for updating system.
odevelop strategies for database implementation and data acquisition.
opresent requirements and solution recommendations to staff.
DELIVERABLES 1.
The analysis will culminate in recommendations to improve data collection, data quality, and data reporting of REL Data collected and housed within impacted systems.
2.
A project plan to update current REL Data Systems, successfully implement the plan for REL data collection, and produce a health equity dashboard.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS oBA/BS in an IT related field oExperience writing business, technical, and functional requirements of business solutions.
oExperience with analysis of data models and computer applications.
oExperience writing project plans and other project management documentation.
Recommended Skills Data Collection Data Management Data Modeling Data Quality Data System Databases Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
