Job SummaryLearn to set-up, operate and maintain at least one process machine (rotary, surface grinder, etc.
) meeting both safety and production requirements.
Maintain all quality and production records and assist with training as required.
Essential FunctionsLearn to perform machine set-up and wheel changes in assigned workstation within standard set-up timesMaintain all quality and production records including tooling calibration, daily walk around, etcMaintain productivity, utilization, schedule and quality records and comply with all standardsPerform inspection of non-certified operatorsAssist with training of Machine Trainees as requiredPerform TPM dutiesJob ResponsibilitiesMaintain 6S and other area housekeeping standardsExecute clean-up shift proceduresMaintain visual control boards and hour X hour chartsParticipate and actively promote continuous improvement activitiesFollow policies and procedures as outlined in Employee HandbookActively participate, promote and comply with all Quality and EH&S programs and policiesAchieve and maintain certified statusMaintain acceptable attendancePerform all other job duties as assigned Recommended Skills Business Process Improvement Calibration Housekeeping Workstations Wall Chaser, Grinder And Angle Grinder Operation Tooling Assembly And Dismantling Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
