BI Architect

As the Director of Business Intelligence, you will be responsible for providing actionable analytics and data assets to enable analytic functions for multiple business units across the organization.
Taking a high-level business vision and translating it into a clearly defined analytic strategy.
The analytic strategy will encompass all aspects of creating excellence in a core business capability including end-state systems, team structure, planning and execution, and adoption of best practices.
The Director of Business Intelligence will collaborate closely with senior leadership, business partners, technology leads, architects and other business intelligence professionals in support of building the business intelligence and analytics capability as well as executing on business initiatives.
Building the capability may include the delivery and adoption of advanced analytical models, ensuring data quality, and enabling dynamic dashboards and self-service.
In addition, the Director of Business Intelligence will be responsible for ensuring systems meet or exceed SLAs, production support/maintenance activities, and managing vendor relationships.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for translating business vision into an actionable strategy for achieving required capabilities.
Develops and actively manages execution plans that include timelines, budgets, management of risks/issues, and staffing in accordance to building/maintaining required capabilities.
Proactively partners with Actuary, Underwriting, and other business units to ensure strategic execution and day-to-day support are meeting business needs.
In addition, as a liaison to the business community, ensures objectives and needs are fully understood by IT teams as needed.
Drives talent management into the organization by ensuring development/succession plans are in place and by providing timely feedback to team members, such as 1:
1 or quarterly feedback meetings.
Mentor junior team members in accordance with best practices.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
