The Behavior Technician must be proficient in data entry, skilled at working with students from multiple demographics, and must have good communication skills as well as compassion for the needs of a diverse student and family population.
The technician will be expected to work inside and outside of the classroom to implement behavioral strategies, collaborate with staff members, and develop a positive climate.
Essential Functions Knowledge of applied behavior analysis Implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of BCBA Maintain respect and confidentiality for all clients Daily collection and graphing of all required data (DTT, Manding, Behaviors, TA's, etc.
) Prepare program materials Review and implement consultation/supervision note recommendations Communicate appropriately and effectively with colleagues Assist staff in defining and measuring behavior; understanding principles of reinforcement; teaching new behavior; implementing strategies for weakening behavior; and identifying antecedents.
Demonstrate ability to plan and evaluate strategies for improving behavior under the supervision of the Administration Additional Duties As needed Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Please see qualification profile Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred Proficient in data entry in multiple systems Have the ability to implement Positive Behavioral Practices Knowledge of Restorative Practices Exceptional knowledge in the use of technology Demonstrate ability to plan and evaluate strategies for improving behavior Under the supervision of the Administration, assist staff in:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
