CDL Shuttle Driver PT Tues-Thurs
DRIVER- Shuttle Drivers needed to drive in Hartford, CT.
This is a local, steady route, transporting employees of a business in the city.
We have openings for part-time weekdays.
If seeking FT, we can add shifts from other work locations in the area to create a FT role.
Shifts are:
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 6am-10am and 2:
30pm-6:
30pm (some small changes may be made to these hours at a later date)We will consider applicants seeking just mornings or just afternoons as well for this role.
CDL drivers start at $20/hour.
Weekend charters are also available to make considerably more if so desired.
The vehicles are late model walk-on 25-passenger shuttles that are cleaned and maintained regularly.
Full-time help is eligible for Health/Dental insurance available after 90 days (50/50 split), and paid vacation after one year.
Room for advancement!Must be over 18, customer service experience is a must! A valid CDL with passenger endorsement is required.
A valid medical card is also required.
CORI checks and driving tests will be conducted.
Shuttle Driver- Job DescriptionThe job responsibilities of a Shuttle Driver may vary depending on the location where the employee is scheduled to work.
The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Greeting patrons in a polite manner and assisting them in any way we canSafely shuttling customers to various destinationsOpening and closing doors for patronsAdhering to all traffic laws/signs to ensure the safest possible operation of our shuttlesCommunicating effectively with customers and co-workers.
This includes radio contact with management, shuttle drivers, and lot attendantsCompleting required pre-trip inspections to meet federal as well as company safety requirementsRecording passenger counts and trip timesCompleting necessary paperwork involved in daily operationsAssisting in equipment set up and break down (i.
e.
signs, cones, etc.
