The Office of Spiritual and Religious Life supports the overall well-being of the Trinity College community through pastoral care and counsel, faith-specific and interfaith programming, and resource sharing.
The Director of Muslim Life and Associate College Chaplain will support the academic mission of Trinity College by leading the development of a vibrant and inclusive Muslim Life program for Trinity College students who represent and embody a variety of expressions of Muslim identity and practice.
This individual will also serve as a resource for Muslim faculty and staff and non-Muslim faculty, staff, and students interested in learning about Islam.
The Director of Muslim Life and Associate College Chaplain will also serve as a resource to the broader campus community, representing Muslim students, staff, and faculty at campus celebration and events.
This individual will also join a team of other college chaplains in implementing interfaith programming that encourages dialogue and learning.
Primary responsibilities include:
Identify and collaborate with student leadership to build a pluralistic and enriching Muslim Life program throughout the year.
This can include, but is not limited to, supporting or leading weekly Jumu'ah Prayers as appropriate and coordinating community celebrations for Ramadan and Eid.
Provide confidential pastoral care for all students, focusing on Muslim students.
Serve as advisor for the Muslim Student Association.
Collaborate with other college chaplains to develop and implement interfaith programming.
Represent the Office of Spiritual and Religious Life at key celebratory campus events like Baccalaureate, Commencement, and Reunion Weekend and tragic events like memorials and vigils.

Build partnerships with peer professionals and student leadership in the Office of Spiritual and Religious Life and throughout Trinity College community to nurture a supportive environment for Muslim students.
Cultivate and maintain support from Muslim alumni and the broader Muslim community.
Lead fundraising initiatives to further develop the Muslim Life program.
Perform other related duties as assigned and based on departmental need.
Qualifications:
Candidates should have at least a bachelor's degree in divinity, Islamic Studies, Theology or related field.
Candidates should have atleast 2,preferably 5, years of relevant work experience.
A master's degree in similar areas of study and at least one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education is preferred.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
