DescriptionTransversal Manager, Machinery Breakdown Hartford, CT I Remote, USAToronto, ON I Remote, CanadaThe role s main objectives are, to optimize the impact of Machinery Breakdown Risk Consulting activity on loss activity of insured business by offering efficient, reliable engineering and Loss Prevention and Control advice to clients and Underwriters.
The role is also focusing on managing the MB Risk Consultants, developing and retaining talent.
DISCOVER your opportunity They directly manage a team of MB Risk Consultants currently located in North America, Canada and contractors.
They have a dotted line to Europe or APAC based MB Risk Consultants.
A key mission of the role is to properly assess and evaluate prospect and renewal accounts for MB exposures, develop MB loss estimates and deliver to business partners with action plans for risk improvement.
They provide direct support to the EB Monoline group to achieve business goals.
The key mission is to define the Risk Consulting strategy for MB in line with the needs of the BUs and regions.
They have to drive the execution of this strategy, aiming at bringing high quality, reliability based Risk Consulting practices to our internal and external stakeholders in order to improve loss reduction and client retention.
The role has to ensure reliability-based Risk Consulting services to Underwriters and clients as part of the payer to partner strategy either bundled or unbundled.
What will your essential responsibilities include?Effectively manage remote MB Risk Consultants in the Americas with Robust oversight, efficient workload assignment and organization, compliant expense managementDevelop talents across all regions provide mentoring and ensure talent retentionDevelop and implement a cross training program that improves technical skill sets of Property Risk Consultants, focusing on critical equipment exposures in high hazard MB occupanciesProvide referral support for Property Underwriting North America, Bermuda, E&S, CanadaSupport transversal global projects and support change managementEnsure succession plan, talent pipeline and knowledge transfer within the teamApprove and publish MB Risk Consulting standards in conjunction with the Technical CenterReview and manage US and Canada-based MB team expenses to ensure compliance with RC procedures and budget Steering the security and compliance of Risk Consulting activities in alignment with AXA XL requirements and regional HR policies.
Optimizing the efficiency & quality of risk consulting activity instituting a peer review processThis role reports to the Chief Risk Consulting Officer Property.

Actual pay will be determined based upon the individual s skills, experience, and location.
