Summary:
The Travelers Receivables
Premium Audit Web Team is a high-performing web technology team focused on the support of Business Insurance and Personal Insurance billing and payment web applications.
The Receivables
Premium Audit Web Team is seeking an experienced .Net developer to join the team and complete advanced programming/analysis tasks, including estimating, design, analysis, coding, testing, debugging, documentation, implementation of programs, and production support.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Provide application development and production support for the suit of applications supported by the RPA Web Team
Research questions and production issues to identify root cause and bring issues to resolution
Proficient in advanced programming skills and competent in analysis and problem solving
Build applications as part of a team, collaborating with others to provide a consistent, maintainable solution
Develop innovative solutions to meet the needs of the business
Provide alternate design solutions along with project estimates
Solve unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business
Work with testers to provide guidance on testing needs and research and resolve defects identified during testing
Effectively handles multiple tasks and can fully evaluate and estimate new tasks
Support team effort through sharing of technical knowledge.
TECHNICAL
Experience:
BS in
computer
Science, MIS or comparable on the job experience
5
years of design and development experience required
5
years Microsoft .NET experience required
Experience required with .NET Framework 3.5 and/or 4.0, XML
Experience required with and , HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Experience desired with Java, J2EE, JSP, EJB, JDBC, JUnit
