Senior Accountant
The Senior Accountant will analyze financial information, prepare financial reports and conduct studies which provide detailed cost information and reports as assigned.
GENERAL ACCOUNTING
Essential Functions:
Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries into accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions.
Distributes expenditures, encumbrances, receipts, and receivables according to schedules.
Performs statistical analyses to determine trends, estimates, and significant changes, and writes narrative reports explaining findings.
Processes and sends weekly 401(k) information to our Plan administrator.
Analyzes financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital, and prepares Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss Statement, and other reports to summarize and interpret current and projected company financial position for the CEO and other Managers.
COST ACCOUNTING
Essential Functions:
Plans and executes activities to collect and analyze data to determine costs of business activities such as material purchases, outside process expenses, inventory, labor and associated overheads, and overall job costing, performance and gross margin.
Analyzes actual manufacturing costs and prepares periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
Perform various audits on cost collection processes and prepare reports and recommendations.
Compiles cost information to be used in operating budget preparation.
ACCOUNTS PAYABLE
Essential Functions:
Monitors and audits the A/P function, compiles and sorts documents, such as invoices and checks, substantiating business transactions.
Verifies and post details of business transactions, such as funds received and disbursed, and totals accounts to ledgers or
computer
spreadsheets and databases.
Audits invoices against purchase orders, researches discrepancies and approves for payment.
Investigates problems that vendors or purchasing agents have with obtaining payment for bills.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Field
+7 years of experience in a Manufacturing Environment.
Working knowledge of GAAP, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Project, and other Microsoft tools.
Experience with Epicor Vantage ERP and/or VISUAL Manufacturing ERP a plus.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
