POSITION SUMMARY
Commercial Compliance is seeking an experienced compliance professional to serve as Business Compliance Officer (BCO) for Pharmacy and lead the Group and Specialty Compliance Team which includes Behavioral Health, Dental, Vision and Group Insurance. The position will report to the head of Commercial Compliance, and be the primary compliance resource for Aetna Pharmacy Management. The BCO will participate as a member of the senior management team for the pharmacy business, providing guidance on ethics and regulatory compliance matters to management and front-line staff. The position will collaborate with counsel for pharmacy, as well as other areas of Aetna's Compliance and Regulatory Affairs department to identify areas of compliance risk, assess the nature and extent of those risks and assist the business in implementing mitigation steps to address those risks. As leader of the Group and Specialty team, the position will also guide other BCOs and staff in supporting Aetna's Group and Specialty product businesses.
To be successful in this position, a candidate must have at least 7-10 years of experience in law or compliance with a specific focus on the pharmacy benefit management (PBM) industry. The candidate must also have executive presence and ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders in law, compliance and the business. The candidate must also demonstrate mastery in leading a high performance cross-functional team to collaborate successfully to resolve complex issues.
This position can be located in Hartford, CT, Blue Bell, PA or Dallas, TX.
