Essential functions of a Consultant at Deloitte Consulting:
A Consultant at Deloitte functions as an integrator between business needs and technology solutions, helping to create solutions to meet clients'' business needs. A Consultant gains exposure to multiple industries while demonstrating an awareness of the full breadth of services offered by Deloitte Consulting LLP. Responsibilities include defining
systems
strategy, developing system requirements, designing, prototyping, and testing custom technology solutions, and supporting system implementation.
Consultants are individual contributors on projects and may have some experience leading 1-3 on/offshore resources.
Consultants should expect extensive travel.
Required Skills:
Human Capital Consultants who specialize in HR Transformation enabled by Taleo will have hands-on configuration and implementation experience in one or more of the following modules:
Recruiting
Sourcing
Onboarding
Compensation
Performance Management
Learning
A minimum of 2 years relevant business consulting / industry experience
Business case development experience
Experience leading requirements gathering workshops or facilitating meetings
Ability to interact at all levels of the client organization
Bachelor''s Degree
Ability to travel 80%25%20(Monday through Thursday, weekly)
In addition, successful Consultants will also have the following preferred skills:
MBA from a leading school
Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
Eagerness to mentor junior staff
Strong presentation skills
