The UTC Aerospace Systems Internship Program is one of the cornerstones of the company's college recruiting strategy. Students hired into this program represent our pipeline of talent - our future executives! This program provides an opportunity for a short term work assignment for students pursuing degree programs directly related to our core business. INROADS INTERNSHIP Internships are for students who prefer shorter work periods, usually three months during the summer. A formal agreement is not required with the school. The company's goal is to relate employment opportunities to the student's academic majors to ensure maximum productivity for all parties involved. The goal of the Intern program is to enhance the student's academic training, professional growth, and personal development. Systems Engineering Summer Intern The intern selected for this position will be working within the Space Systems Houston Engineering group. Tasks will include supporting the systems engineers through test definition and execution, data analysis, and customer support. An additional focus will be system definition through requirement generation, validation, tracing, and verification. Experience will be gained in engineering leadership, project coordination, technical data analysis, requirements based development, and customer interaction.
Qualifications
Pursuing a degree directly related to UTC Aerospace Systems' core business MUST BE CURRENTLY ENROLLED IN COURSEWORK Completion of at least 30 credit hours 3.0 minimum GPA MUST BE CURRENTLY ENROLLED IN THE INROADS PROGRAM
