Responsibilities
This position plans and coordinates continuous improvement (CI) activities for manufacturing and support processes, serving as a LEAN resource providing guidance and support for internal activities. Primary
Responsibilities: Partners with the CI Resource Team, Manufacturing and Support areas to develop and implement continuous improvement strategies. The selected candidate will enhance and support teamwork, and support an environment where all team members are able to participate in CI (Continuous Improvement) and utilize the tools on a daily basis. Other tasks will include: - The development of scope sheets for Kaizen events. - Participation and follow up to ensure successful implementation, closure and documentation of report outs are done. - Perform time observations, creating and maintaining standard work sheets, standard work combination sheets and percent loads. - Creation and maintenance of department visual controls, including driver measures and other metrics. - Deployment of 5S culture. - Development and maintenance of Enterprise Excellence objective evidence. - Development and coordination of continuous improvement activities that align with and support policy deployment improvement targets. - Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
BA/BS degree, or High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 4-7 years of relevant experience in lieu of the degree. New graduates are welcome to apply. - Strong personal commitment to Continuous Improvement (CI)/LEAN principles. - Ability to multi-task, with strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize work. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Strong PC skills including proficiency in software applications including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
