Help Desk Analyst- Evening hours 3:30-11:00
This role will be trained at Backus then will move to Hartford Hospital
Responsibilities:
Provide first level support over the phone and on site. (Re-connect printers, find files, reset passwords, etc).
Perform PC, application and printer troubleshooting. Ensure all problems are logged into an incident management database.
Act as a liaison between customers and 2nd level teams.
Answer calls within 20 seconds and generate helpdesk incidents with accurate information.
Document all troubleshooting done via the phone.
Expected to close 80% of the calls over the phone and responsible to follow up on all calls transferred to second level and vendors, while performing other duties as required.
Requirements:
A
certification or equivalent experience preferred.
Previous HD Experience preferred. Possess knowledge of PC hardware,
Windows 7 and Windows XP Workstation.
Applicant must have excellent command of the English language and excellent oral and written communication skills.
Requires experience in IT environment and be able to resolve first level support and some second level support issues.
Basic understanding of the desktop suite of MS-Office, Rumba, Internet Explorer and some understanding of network concepts and protocols to effectively identify problems required. Be able to interact with customers and hardware via phone.
