Job Description We are seeking a VP of the IT Department. The successful candidate will be a senior level, strategic manager of people who can lead our IT team into the future, both from a technological standpoint and a staffing perspective. Key Responsibilities - Develop and execute IT strategy for an online service provider to achieve business results. - Lead IT team to Design, develop and maintain a multi-tenant digital commerce platform and supporting systems and processes. This person will be responsible for all systems, performance, architecture and scalability. This leadership position will be responsible for delivery of projects based on requirements and supporting those applications. - Manage diverse IT team with help of directors, managers and off-shore development partners and project managers to design, develop and maintain digital applications and systems. - Working with internal staff and vendors, the successful candidate will be responsible for the overall system architecture, Hosting Strategies, Infrastructure Management, Capacity Planning and Local / Remote Security Compliance. - This person will manage a group of 10
highly talented Development Team, Manage service/Desktop support and solution architects. - Work cross functionally and across all departments at a senior level to align IT goals with other departmental needs. - Develop resource planning for business roadmap in advance. - Maintain PCI Level 2 compliance. - Review the project progress against timeline. - Work with application management teams and business to develop solutions based on business needs. - Develop and implement plans for availability and scalability of applications. - Project hardware capacity plans and work with hosting partners to implement them. - Combines experience, insight, competitive analysis and data to determine how to best exceed customer/member needs. - Control the IT budget and training plan. - Monitor performance of all IT staff and deliver positive and constructive feedback. - Deploy and delegate projects according to client needs and priority.
