Seeking experience with metal stock production to improve processes involving: Fusion Welding, Extrusion, Pressing, Rolling, Roll Welding, Explosive Welding, Laser Cladding, Plating, Metal Treating, etc. which produce bimetallic base stock products used to manufacture Motor Protectors, Overload Relays, Thermostats, Thermometers, Connectors, Thermal Switches, PG Clamps, Lugs, etc.
Activities:
Contribute to quotation proposals by developing manufacturing concepts and aiding in design from manufacturability context.
Maintain efficient manufacture of products.
Coordinate product and process development and design reviews and advise on methods, material and equipments.
Provide technical advice to manufacturing supervisors.
Conduct failure analysis, develop solutions and implement corrective action.
Investigate and approves design and process change requests.
Participates in review and dispositioning of non-conforming materials.
Cost analysis and cost control.
Source and recommend vendors.
Drive Lean Programs
