Writer, Web and Social Media
The Writer, Web and Social Media is passionate about digital content, will be a major contributor of editorial content for the 2015 build of the new company website.
The role will be equally responsible for producing compelling social media content. Excellent digital writing skills, an understanding of the differences in writing styles required for - as well as ability to adapt writing to best suit - the various digital formats including the corporate website and different social media platforms (FB, LI, Tw, G+, etc.) is a must.
Requirements:
3 years of experience.
Proven ability to write concise, clear, consumer-focused web-site copy and the ability to break down complex financial service products information into simple easy-to-understand content.
Has a basic understanding of search engine optimization objectives and the ability and willingness to input content into enterprise-level content management system
Proven expertise in writing for social media and a high comfort level for writing posts and selecting images for the company social media properties across several social media channels including FaceBook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Google+.
Strong interpersonal communications skills and comfort working in a highly collaborative, face-paced environment with a diverse team of high-achievers and multiple concurrent projects
Strong listening skills and the ability to integrate information from a variety of sources and people and deliver clear, concise, easily digestible and compelling content that meets stakeholders expectations for content, tone and metrics
Self motivation with strong attention to detail including strong editing and proofreading skills
Strong time-management and organizational skills and the ability to write on and meet deadlines
Flexible nature with the ability to deal confidently and calmly with changing priorities and concurrent deliverables
Technical Requirements:
Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Working knowledge of SharePoint
Working knowledge of SEO best practices
Experience working in Brand Networks, Google Analytics a plus
Insurance product knowledge a plus: Property casualty (business & personal) Group benefits
Topical knowledge a plus: business topics including: marketing, finance, management, talent. Lifestyle and auto safety.
Audiences: small business owners, millennials, baby boomers, insurance agents, large employers, homeowners, car owners
Candidates need to work on-site. Although it is not a guarantee, assignment may convert. In order to convert, a candidate must be authorized to permanently work in the United States. Hiring area will consider candidates interested in consulting work only, as well.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
