Network After Work is looking for an experienced Event Manager who will host monthly large-scale events. If you are a dedicated professional looking for a challenging and fun career opportunity, this job is for you.
This position requires excellent management and social skills along with the ability to engage professionals. This is a part-time position that could eventually lead to full-time depending on performance.
The perfect person for this position is professional, social, organized and enjoys and understands the local happy hour and nightlife scene.
As an event manager you will be in charge of monthly Network After Work events and required to attend 3-5 additional networking events to promote Network After Work.
It will be the event managers job to handle event set-up, event check-in, day of event communications with the venue and making sure guests are happy with the event.
Part Time:
Includes 4 hours hosting Network After Work events and attending 3-5 additional events monthly
Requirements
o 2
years Event Management experience
o Candidate must be professional, social and outgoing
o Candidate must attend networking events regularly
o Must be aware of current happy hours and nightlife
Duties
o Host monthly Network After Work events
o Book Venues
Work with Local Charities and Sponsors
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
