Program Support Assistant (OA)

Receives, consolidates and analyzes all productivity data. Compiles, analyzes and prepares weekly, monthly and quarterly reports. Assist in administrative record-keeping and data-entry tasks. Assists in fiscal operations and oversees all budgetary matters. Receives, screens, prioritizes and directs all incoming correspondence. Makes arrangements for meetings and conferences including reserving meeting spaces, designing program announcements, attending meetings, providing travelers with assistance, etc. Performs other related duties as assigned. Monday-Friday, 8am to 4:

Applicants who are current Federal employees, applying for promotion, and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For this position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-5 level or higher. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement. In this instance, you must provide an additional SF-50 that clearly demonstrates one-year time-in-grade. Note:

Experience:
You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-5 grade level. Specialized experience is experience providing administrative and/or programmatic assistance that provided the skills to perform the duties of this position. Examples of specialized experience include collecting, compiling, and/or tracking of data and/or statistical information; performing data entry; maintaining records; creating reports; overseeing budgetary matters; etc. Typing Proficiency:
This position requires the skills of a qualified typist. In addition to meeting the experience requirement, you must be able to type at least 40 words per minute. You will be rated on the following Competencies for this position:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
